December 30, 2003 HOLIDAY UPDATE Mike did a solo Xmas show last Thursday morning. I don't have his playlist handy. I did call in to chat him up on-the-air, though, on the way out to my family's house. Fun times! Radio Zero will be taking a vacation on New Year's Day -- our first ever since we started in Oct. 2002! In our place will be the 12-hour Microphone Bill and Benjamin reggae marathon. It'll be hot -- tune in and nurse that hangover with some throbbing bass and cavernous reverb. We'll be back on Jan. 8 at our "interim time" for two weeks -- 9 am to noon -- and then back to 10-noon starting January 22nd. Our show will be followed by The Rex Masterson Music Hour, an excellent new "alternative classical" show. You'll definitely want to stay tuned and check it out! Happy holidays, J. (and Mike) # |
